Donations

We are grateful for any support you can give to further our aims.

Here is some necessary information.

 

Donations are welcome at any time. These can be tax deducted in Germany.

You can donate to a specific projects should you so wish.

When transferring your donation make sure to specify the project name on the payment slip.

 

• Tempel – your donations under this heading will only be used to support the rebuilding of the temple in Upper Manang.

• Charity – here your donations will be used for to alleviate the suffering of the elderly.

• EDU – your donations will be used to support the education of young school children and /or young nuns and monks.

General non-specific donations will be used by the association where it is needed most!

 

We do not engage in arranging Child Sponsoring although Project Sponsoring will be readily accepted.

Now it is also possible to donate PAYBACK-Points to Himalaya Karuna!
The website Payback Spendenwelt shows how to do this in easy steps. Enter the projects “Himalaya Karuna“ and donate points. A donation receipt can also be generated.


Himalaya Karuna is also member of the large on-line donation platform betterplace.org !
Through betterplace.org one can also easily make donations to the Himalaya Karuna association.  Through this platform we can also reach-out to a wider community.
Please spread the word that enhanced support to Himalaya Karuna can be given through betterplace.org by signing-on as an ADVOCATE!

Important information regarding financial support

Pledge from Himalaya Karuna Deutschland e.V.
We ensure that all money received is immediately and completely applied to our support projects. All Association members work as volunteers.

Payments
It is possible to transfer money once or regularly using a standing order. Membership fees are tax deductable (in Germany).

Donation receipts
Donations to the value of 200 € can be used in your tax return using your bank payment slips as evidence (in Germany).

We will automatically provide a donation receipt recognized by the German tax law for donations exceeding 200 €. This will be early in the following year. It is however necessary to provide your complete address. Please contact us should you require a donation receipt immediately
